How does the process work? You will be able to access your subconscious mind where your true feelings exist. This will happen by relaxing and going inward and finding the connection between the physical sensations in your body and the feelings created in your subconscious. When those feelings are acknowledged and released by finding the root cause, your conscious mind will become clear. This clarity will help you make the right decisions, at the right times, and for the right reasons. 

How many sessions will I need? The process varies from person to person depending upon how great the issues you are looking to overcome are and how deeply (and how long) they have been ingrained in your subconscious. Some people may only need a few sessions, while others may need (or desire) more if they have more than one issue to work on. The need for future sessions may come up as new challenges appear in life.

How long does a session last? This also varies from person to person. Generally a session will be about two hours, but could be shorter or longer depending on what is being worked on at that time. We can always take breaks if you need them, to visit the bathroom or get a drink. Your comfort in every way is important to me; as well as to the success of your session. 

How does a session begin? I will ask you what your goal is for your session, and I  will listen to you share what is going on in your life that may be causing you stress or other emotional or physical problems. After we establish what you would like to achieve in your time with me; and when I have answered all of the questions you may have, we will begin the process. 

Is this like the hypnosis seen on TV or stage shows? No. I will not swing a pocket watch in front of you, or make you do things you normally wouldn’t. Essentially you will be closing your eyes and become relaxed and very focused on your emotions as well as your body sensations. You will have a heightened awareness of everything, your senses will in essence become sharper. You will always know what you are doing and saying and you will have complete control over both. I am just serving as your guide to help you get to the root of your problem(s) to work towards a solution that feels right to you. 

What is EFT? EFT / Emotional Freedom Technique or “Tapping” is a process where you mentally “tune in” to what you are feeling and by giving it a name “feeling stressed” or “feeling sad”, then using the fingertips to stimulate meridian points ( the “energy highway” that runs through the body, connecting everything) by tapping on them as you talk through what you are feeling at each point. This helps to clear the mind and balance your energy to create clear thoughts. Used in conjunction with hypnotherapy, this is a very powerful tool to assist in clearing traumas and issues you may be holding onto that are preventing you from progress and wholeness in your life.
